Emma Paige turns 1!

Last weekend Landon's BFF Emma turned a year old! She had an awesome party at our church, then afterwards we took all the kids out to the church playground and stayed for hours. The weather was beautiful and us mommy's def enjoyed the time as well! She had a cupcake themed party and her mommy fixed all kinds of neat cupcakes!

5 years ago...

Five years ago today I got engaged to my best friend. It's hard to beleive its been 5 years already since that freezin cold day in November :) That day we rode to the lake I kept arguing with him that it was too cold and I didnt' want to get out and walk down to the overlook. He likes to remind me how mean I was that afternoon ;) Through it all we just have to remember *It's not always rainbows & butterflies its compromise that moves us along* :) I love you bayba :)

Hometown Halloween

This year we were able to go downtown to Hometown Halloween. The same group that puts on "Rock the Block" were in charge of this and did an awesome job! The Rhinestone Rockers as well as the Heart Unit had a tent to hand out candy, and a lot of other organizations and business' handed out candy to all the kids. There was face painting, pumpkin carving, a chili cook off, and even a dog costume contest! No Lifeguard on Duty also performed so that always makes things fun. It was a fun filled day, and after trick or treating around all Landon was def ready to come home for a nap! Emma the kitty cat..

Landon is startin to get the hang of the whole Halloween scene so I think he'll be even more fun next year!

Birthday party #2

We've started a little tradition with a few of our friends to go to each others house and fix dinner for everyone. This sunday was at Stan & Brooklyn's house and they were so sweet to get a cake for Landon since it was his birthday. Of course he was thrilled to have another candle to blow out and enjoyed eating all the icing off the cake :) Landon blowing out his candle

Opening his present. They got him a tractor trailor w/ a 4wheeler on the back. He was so excited about the cake & present he kept goin back and forth sayin "cool man!"

The sugar high started to wear off so he got up w/ Ben & Keith on the couch to watch some TV

Ben's arm looked pretty comfy, and he was gettin tired..

He was quite the life of the party and ended up not wanting to leave. He informed me he was "stayin here w/ brookwyn!" Maybe before too long "keef & ashwey or stan & brookwyn" will give him some playmates :)

Squirmers

Sunday at church the Squirmers choir did a little halloween number, and at least we got Landon go up front w/ the kids. I guess it helped that I had to sit on the step with him..haha
