The Baby shower

We went to Atlanta for Maddie's baby shower and I was very excited that I finally got to meet Claire who I share a birthday with. I also got to meet her big sister Emma, and I immediately started following her around. Mommy says I'm too rough with girls, but I just thought if Claire took out her binky she could talk to me!

My big surprise

So Mommy kept telling me that we were going to be part of a big surprise and that even if I didn't like my car seat it would be worth it in the end, so me, mommy & daddy piled the jeep up and headed to Atlanta to surprise my godmother Kristin for her baby shower! I heard dadddy use a few not so nice words when we hit traffic on 285 and I felt like screamin too! It was well worth the long trip because she was surprised and I got to spend time with my godparents that I don't get to see that often! Noah & Sailers mom Summer helped mommy be sneaky and plan on coming for the party.

Just in case you can't read my shirt, it says "If you think I'm handsome, you should see my Dad" Mommy had a moment of weakness and bought it on her shopping trip to Potomac mills.

Well of course I couldn't decide which ones to post so I tried to pic just a few. Mark & Lori were donig family pics, and we tried to have a few new ones. I love the pictures with Hunter, Landon & Abbie, they love him so much, especially Hunter. He always wants to take care of Landon, so I hope he keeps it up while Landon grows older.

The next left hander?

Daddy saw this picture and was Extremely excited. I don't know why, I was just practicing my batting skills on one of my new toys, but mommy says Daddy wants me to be left handed like him, I'm just working on my home runs!

My first sickness

Mommy says that I'm a very lucky kid. Since she works for a pediatrician she thought I would be sick all the time with her bringing home germs but this is my first time with even a cold. I've got a runny nose that won't quit and I'm losin my voice! I had to push back my 1 year check up, but its ok because I don't mind putting off shots!

Election Day

So I'm taking a place on Landon's blog just to say a few words about the election. This is my first time ever voting, and I'm proud to wear my I Voted sticker. Everyone knows I have never been a person concerned with politics, and I'm married to the most politicaly passionaite person ever. Jonathan would always try to get me to follow along, but I've just never been interested until this year. Maybe because I have a child that will grow up in this country and live with the decisions we make this year as voters. I'm a very conservative person, and always have been, and both of the candidates are less than the extreme conservative side, but at least McCain has some sort of experience. It just scares me, Obama comes in like this hurricane and all these people just flock to him like he is the next jesus christ. He's not. He talks so much about "change" but what will the change be? Allowing illegal immigrants to take our jobs, getting healthcare for FREE, allowing abortions to take place w/out even blinking an eye, and so many other things I'm just scared of. So like my sign, I am definately from a Small town, I do cling to my religion, and I do own a gun. Everyone who is registered get out there and make a difference. Vote. ITS YOUR RIGHT.

Happy Halloween!

Well it was my first Halloween where I actually went out Trick or treating! (Last year I was only 6 days old) We went to mamaw & pawpaws house first and went to a few houses in her neighborhood, then we went to Grammy & Pawpaws and played with Anna Grace and Kyle. I had so much fun in my pirate outfit I didn't want to take it off and go to bed!
