Dance Machine

I'm not sure, but he might be the next contestant on Dancing With the Stars! I couldn't get my camera out fast enough when he was doing his "stomp/spin" move, but what I got is still funny!

Bowlin Alley

We went to ANOTHER birthday party at the Bowling Alley saturday night for one of mommy's best friends daughter. Allyssa turned 7 years old and mommy kept saying she can't beleive she's that big. Well I had a blast. I ran ALL over the place and even got to drink a little of mom's pop! I could get used to this birthday party thing!

Happy Birthday Lewis

Friday night we had Another family birthday, this time for my cousin Lewis. Him and his Daddy have been living w/ Grammy & PawPaw for a while and this was his first Real birthday party. He got all kinds of fun toys and even had a spiderman cake! He got some real fun outside toys!
And he got the movie BOLT..everyone wanted to watch it, but it was too late..
Silly Abbie..she ate the icing off his cake and it turned her mouth green!
Grammy has a John Deer doll that isn't much smaller than me, I tried on his hat but it was just a little too small

Ladies Man

Me, Mommy, Daddy & Katrina went out to get a bite to eat last night, and we saw Mommy's friend Carrie. Well I dunno what it is about her, but I just love it when she comes around so I had two pretty ladies on each side of me. What can I say? Being handsome is a rough job ;)

Happy Birthday Abbie

Friday was my cousin Abbie's 3rd birthday party. Mommy had pageant practice so Daddy took me to a baseball game that afternoon (but it didn't last long cuz I fell & busted my lip so we came home) and then he got me ready for the party. He also decided to dress me just like him in khaki's and a white t-shirt as if we don't already look like twins! All my cousins were there to play with and we had a good time! Abbie got alot of Barbie stuff so I wasn't too interested in that junk, I just wanted to get in Hunters old fire truck! Abbie blowing out her three candles

Talkin on her cell phone and rockin the Dora shades we bought her
Me & Paw Paw watchin Abbie open presents
She got all kinds of good toys!
Aunt Lori showing Abbie some of her new Barbie stuff

Prayers

A while back ago in one of my posts I asked everyone to pray for Baby Evan who is growing up dealing with a debilitating genetic skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB for short) I hope everyone who came across my blog by accident or on purpose began to add Baby Evan to their prayers. Well he came in yesterday for his 6 month check up, and it's so hard to beleive he's that old! Some prayers have been answered because notice he only has his belly and leg wrapped in the picture! His mommy still has to do the tasks of bathing him in bleach water, and keeping his skin dry and clean, but God has put his hands around Evan and gave him some comfort. She also let me take a picture yesterday to put up on my blog, and I'm going to go over and help her start a blog just for him. Please keep continuing to pray for his health, and for his mom and two sisters who take awesome care of him!

Rainy Days

There's not much to do on rainy yucky days so me & mommy just spent the mornin playin in my room. I decided I would read her my "Guess how much I love you book" while riding my tonka truck....

Happy Birthday Pawpaw David

Friday Night was Paw Paw David's birthday so we all went up to Grammy & PawPaws for pizza, ice cream and cake. It's a rare occasion that all the grandkids are there together, and 9 out of 10 were there from the party. It's pretty hard to get 9 kids to pay attention to someone taking a picture, so this was about the best mommy could do. LtoR its Me, BJ, Jake holding Lewis, Kari holding Abbie, and on the front row Hunter, Kyle & Anna Grace. What a crew! I was exhausted by the time we got home.

Anna Grace & Abbie were playing girlie stuff like Dolls, and house. No fun for me!

A Cow says MOO

I love reading my books about farms and I love when we get to the Cow page because the Moo'ing is my favorite part! Well Mommy & Me went down to Katrina's last night and her sister's farm is right behind her house.. well I got to see some moo cows Up close and personal! They thought we had sugar feed for them so they came right up to the fence. I was a little concerned about her big tongue lickin me, so I let mommy do all the petting! That is cloverbud and her mom. She was born about 2 weeks ago. Did I mention that I LOVED playing outside down there?! It's so much fun to just run around and Katrina's boxer dog Josie chased me all over the place!
Cloverbud finally came up kinda close to the fence to see us, but she was still kinda scared. There are two more babycalfs that should be making their entrance into the world w/in the next few weeks so I can't wait to go back and see them!

Junior Miss Queen of Hearts

We had pageant #2 for the American Heart Association, the Junior Miss Queen of Hearts on Saturday night. I'm a pageant committee member, but I had to pull triple duty that night because not only did I do regular pageant stuff, we clogged in the pageant and I also dressed my neice Kari last minute. And let me just say she looked beautiful! We had 20 girls up for Queen, and ended up raising over $6000.00 for the Alleghany Heart Unit!! The next pageant is the Young Miss Queen of Hearts which is the one April & I are directors, whew..its a lot of work, but its all worth it!
After the pageant we stopped to pose for a quick pic in the hall, Kari just wanted to get her dress off! Kari & Katelynn during the parade of contestants. It was kinda neat since they are family that they were together. Katelynn placed and got 2nd runner up
She did an awesome job in all her categories, but her dress was beautiful!
I can't believe how grown up she is.

Yay for SUNSHINE!

The week started out with 5 inches of snow, and by Friday it was 70 degree weather. And let me just say it was absolutely WONDERFUL! I got off a lil early on friday so I picked up Landon and decided to go to the playground for a while before pageant practice. It was Landon's first time at the park since he's actually been big enough to do anything, and while he was leary at first, he warmed up really fast. It was great to spend the afternoon with him.
Here he is watching the boys play basketball. He looks so grown up here, not to mention he's standing JUST like his daddy does. He even made his way over to the courts and some boys let him throw their basketball around a little.. Then Daddy left work early and came to play!
He cried when I first put him in the swing, but once he realized how fun it was that quickly changed.. "Hey mom I could get used to this jungle gym thing...

How can you not fall in love with that face?!

Four years already?!

We celebrated our four year anniversary on March 5th. It's hard to beleive what all has happened in just 4 short years. We've lived in Atlanta, two different houses, and had a wonderful baby boy. We celebrated by taking Landon over to Grammy & PawPaw's and we went to eat at Cat&Owl..super yummy. I waited all day to stuff myself and I felt like someone needed to roll me out of there! They even brought little candles in our dessert :) I surprised Jonathan with a gun that he had put on layaway last week. I was super sneaky and called Cindy at Alleghany sportsman and went after work to pay for it and register it. I even traded vehicles w/ april so Jonathan wouldn't see me pull in the parking lot (it's right across from the funeral home) He was very surprised and I still cant' beleive I spent money on that.. I might plead temporary insanity ;)

Dad where are you?!

Landon was concerned that his Daddy wasn't home at his usual time, so while I was cleanin up I heard him yelling over the banister. Poor thing just wanted his daddy home to play! It's so sweet.
